MY HISTORY
Golf has always been a passion since early childhood. Working at a golf course in my teens allowed me to play as much golf as I possibly could. I played over 180 rounds a year and hit thousands and thousands of golf balls. Through the high school years, I developed in to a decent player and some success in junior golf. I was always told that to make it through Q-School at the time, you needed to shoot par or better five consecutive days at five different courses. I did it once and thought I was ready to go for it.
The PGA Tour was the main goal. I realized pretty quick that there were thousands of people chasing the dream just like me. I worked the life of a teaching professional for a few years before I decided to get a real job.
Golf is still is a significant part of my life. I enjoy watching all tours and play as often as I can. My game has deteriorated over the years after sitting in an office, but the love of the game has never gone away.
WHY RANGEFINDERS?
Playing golf at the same course over and over, you get to know the course pretty well and have an idea on your yardages on every hole. But a rangefinder can help discover things you may not have known.
Rangefinders come in handy no matter where you are playing. Even if you are playing the same course over and over, don’t you want to know exactly how far you have to the flag? Wouldn’t it be nice to know the distance to the edge of the fairway bunker? How far is it to carry to water?
